Our founders were among the masses who thought, “I wish I had taken the time to capture my grandparents’ story, but never had the chance.” We decided we wanted to help people who have an interest in their family stories, but who do not have the time or resources to conduct a thorough interview and produce a captivating record of those stories.
In 2013, we launched Storyhouse on a mission to bring families together to take a stand for capturing their family stories so they can be shared now and for generations to come.
KATHRYN GONZALES, FOUNDER & CEO

She is on the board of PelotonU and volunteers for Meals on Wheels and Girls on the Run.
MONICA FLORES, PRODUCER
Monica Flores has a master's degree in Journalism/Radio Television Film from the University of Texas at Austin. Her 10+ years of production work include experience in broadcast television, documentary, advertising, as well as in on-line projects. MAGGIE MORA, Marketing manager
A native midwesterner by way of Chicago and Minnesota, Maggie settled in Austin two years ago to pursue a career as a writer and illustrator/designer.
